Flood Advisory issued May 26 at 5:05PM CDT until May 26 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS St Louis MO * WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east central Missouri, including the following counties, northwestern Franklin, Gasconade, southwestern Montgomery, west central Saint Charles and Warren. * WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 505 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This is causing urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Washington, Warrenton, Wright City, Owensville, Hermann, New Haven, Gerald, Marthasville, Truesdale, Innsbrook, Bland, Rosebud, Treloar, Swiss, Drake, Mount Sterling, Dutzow, Foristell, Gasconade and Berger. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
