Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued May 31 at 2:53PM MDT until May 31 at 10:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 360 IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN NEW MEXICO THIS WATCH INCLUDES 5 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO CURRY QUAY ROOSEVELT IN NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO HARDING UNION THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF CAPULIN, CHICOSA LAKE STATE PARK, CLAYTON, CLOVIS, DES MOINES, LOGAN, MILLS, PORTALES, ROSEBUD, ROY, TUCUMCARI, AND YATES.

Flood Advisory issued May 31 at 6:11PM MDT until May 31 at 9:15PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM * WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east central New Mexico, including the following counties, southwestern Curry and northwestern Roosevelt. * WHEN...Until 915 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 611 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
