Illinois River near Havana affecting Fulton, Mason and Cass Counties. .The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Illinois River at Peoria. * WHEN...Until Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Some flooding begins to bottomland not protected by levees. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 AM CDT Saturday was 19.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.6 feet this evening.
