Flood Watch issued June 18 at 3:21AM EDT until June 18 at 10:00AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...The following counties, in southeast Indiana, Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland, the following counties, in northern Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EDT this morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. People in the watch area, especially those living in areas prone to flooding, should be prepared to take action should flooding develop. Monitor the latest forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings.

Central Ripley County in southeastern Indiana... * Until 715 AM EDT. * At 458 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. The heavy rainfall is winding down, but additional high water is expected to linger. Little additional rainfall is expected through this morning, with less than 0.25 to 0.5 inches in the next 3 hours. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Lawrenceburg, Greendale, Aurora, Hidden Valley, Bright, Versailles, Milan, Osgood, Dillsboro, Shawnee, Moores Hill, Guilford, Wilmington, Manchester, Holton, Cold Springs, Versailles Lake, Olean, Mount Sinai and Benham.
