Little Sioux River above Spencer / Highway 18 affecting Clay County. Little Sioux River near Milford affecting Dickinson County. Little Sioux River at Spencer affecting Clay County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Sioux River at Spencer. * WHEN...From Tuesday morning to Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, The floodplain and some of the walking trails within Spencer city park are flooded. Some rural agricultural areas also begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 9.8 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 9.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It will continue rising to flood stage of 10.0 feet by Tuesday morning, and then peak around 10.6 feet Wednesday evening.
