Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Bastrop, Crossett, Rayville, Hamburg, North Crossett, West Crossett, Mer Rouge, Wilmot, Portland, Montrose, Collinston, Bonita, Parkdale, Fountain Hill, Oak Ridge, Start, Berlin, Beekman, Galion, and Jones. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
