Flood Warning issued June 19 at 4:29PM EDT until June 19 at 7:30PM EDT by NWS Boston/Norton MA * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of western Massachusetts, including the following counties, Franklin and Hampshire. * WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 429 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Deerfield, Monroe, Buckland, Conway, Shelburne, Ashfield, Colrain, Charlemont, Goshen, Heath, Plainfield, Rowe and Hawley. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
