Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Law enforcement. These storms have a history of producing wind damage in the Lake of the Ozarks region. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Montauk State Park, Salem, Licking, Bunker, Edgar Springs, Lenox, Montauk, Turtle, Jadwin, Beulah, Howes Mill, Darien, Hazelton, Lake Spring, Gladden, Success, Anutt, Bangert, Boss, and Howes.
