Special Weather Statement issued June 6 at 1:56AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO At 156 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Albia to near Centerville to 8 miles southeast of Corydon. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Unionville, Lancaster, Glenwood, and Livonia. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
