Lower Delaware Bay... Coastal and outer waters from Manasquan Inlet to Fenwick Island DE... * Until 830 PM EDT. * At 630 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 18 nm northwest of Buoy Ge to 6 nm west of Sea Isle City to near Cape Henlopen, moving east at 35 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and large hail. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. * Locations impacted include... Atlantic City, Five Fathoms Buoy, Buoy 2fb, Brown Shoal Light, Buoy 4fb, Ship Bottom, Buoy 3fb, Cape Henlopen, Deepwater Reef, Garden State South Reef, Great Egg Reef, Ocean City Reef, Indian River Inlet Bridge, Overfalls Shoal, The Lump, North Beach Haven, 28- Mile Wreck, Brigantine, Bethany Beach, and Little Egg Reef. At 619 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 nm northeast of Sea Breeze to near Miah Maull Light to 7 nm west of Slaughter Beach, moving east at 25 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Fortesque Beach, Brown Shoal Light, Buoy Ge, Fourteen Foot Bank Light, Slaughter Beach, Cape Henlopen, East Point, Sea Isle City, Cape May Point, Miah Maull Light, Brandywine Shoal Light, and Rehoboth Beach. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central and southern Delaware...southern New Jersey...and the adjacent coastal waters.
