Expect 30 to 50 percent areal coverage of thunderstorms with potential for new fire starts due to lightning. Initial storms may be dry with strong gusty outflow winds, especially in southeast Oregon. Storms overnight through Saturday will trend gradually wetter. * AFFECTED AREA...In Oregon, Fire Weather Zones 670 Burns BLM and 672 Southern Grasslands. * TIMING...Until 5 PM PDT Saturday. * THUNDERSTORMS...Scattered coverage with abundant lightning. * OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusty erratic winds up to 50 mph. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly.
